Spoleto Festival USA

If you are into arts and culture the Spoleto Festival is the perfect event to visit this summer! This festival is a combination of both international arts and Southern culture. The Sweetgrass Cultural Arts Festival
June 4th from Noon – 7pm
After visiting Charleston’s charming Memorial Waterfront Park in Mount Pleasant, bring your friends/family to the annual Sweetgrass Cultural Arts Festival this summer! Sweetgrass Cultural Arts Festival is influenced by the Gullah Geechee culture and history of arts and crafts. Spend the day relaxing at this festival with the many activities such as live music, food, drinks, activities for the kids, and basket making activities inspired by the Gullah Geechee.
4th of July Blast at Patriots Point
The 4th of July is always such a fun holiday in the summer to look forward to! This year in Charleston you can celebrate this patriotic holiday on aboard a historic warship. The ship offers the best views on the water of astounding fireworks and the city of Charleston itself. Tickets will go on sale at the end of May, so bring your friends and family and have a night to remember!
Mount Pleasant Pier
Mount Pleasant Pier is fun for all ages. From the River Watch Café, Gift Shop, and Fishing gear rentals you can spend all day and night enjoying the amenities and the people you are with. On top of all that, along this 1250-ft pier, there is are beautiful views to watch the Charleston life and sunset.
Who doesn’t love spending the day at the beach with the people you love? Charleston has five beautiful beaches you can visit to watch the sun rise and set and spend all day relaxing in the sand. The best part is you have plenty of beaches to visit and choose from all summer long. Charleston’s beaches are Kiawah Island, Folly Beach, Sullivan’s Island, Isle of Palms, and Seabrook Island.
